Blush pinks in Druids Glen
I met Claire almost a year before here wedding day and she was very keen to design her wedding flowers. As usual the starting point was Claire’s wedding dress – the design , fabric, colour, feel are all great details essential in planning the design of the flowers. The bride chose fabulous mint green dresses for her bridesmaids and she mentioned that she likes pink.
Claire’s bouquet was a romantic scented mix of peonies, roses, lisianthus and accents of sea lavender simply bounded in ivory satin and ornamental fabric bands.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets were domes of roses with Astilbe accents, each girl sporting a different colour rose: white Avalanche, pink Sweet Avalanche and purple Memory Lane.
The groom chose a Memory Lane rose for himself and pink roses for the groomsmen and fabulous LEGO & sea lavender buttonholes for the four ecstatic page boys.
We decorated the beautiful Holy Rosary Church Greystones with posies of roses and snapdragons and lots of fabulous pink garden roses and punctuated the beautiful reception room in Druids Glen with lots of blooms in pink and cream and lush foliage.
