A pop of orange – wedding flowers in Tinakilly

It’s not very often when I am challenged to a new theme or colour scheme, so I was absolutely delighted when Orla appointed me to design her wedding flowers for her summer wedding in Tinakilly in Co. Wicklow.

The bridesmaids’ outfits were a combination of navy tops completed with the amazingly beautiful skirts from Fee G spring summer collection. To contrast with the intricate design of their attire, we created simple & relaxed bundles of Gypsophila or Baby’s Breath.

And Orla loved colour and the lightness of the wild flowers and herbs, so her bridal bouquet was a scented mix of orange, red, purple and white & yellow flowers, grasses and herbs good enough to eat. Literally!
