It has been, in a word (or two) absolutely freezing the past couple of weeks. The roads are icing over, the air is biting cold and the days are dark and dreary. Quite a contrast to the wedding buzz one might hope to have in the New year. However, there is something quite beautiful about the touches of frost on the grass, the snow speckled mountains and cool toned silvery skies. Perhaps, amongst these delicate aspects of winters, lies some wedding inspiration…
Take the wedding bouquet above for example, despite its cool tones it is striking as different textures and colours are in harmony with one another. The frosty green tones of the eucalyptus adds a rich dimension to the bouquet and it is complimented by the wispiness of the pampas grass. The subtle pink roses add a romantic flair to a variety of foliage, think elegance, think Jane Austen, think Downton Abbey. The bouquet is the epitome of elegance and beauty, a reflection of the bride on her special day.
Take wedding inspiration from your surroundings. What atmosphere do you want to create? How do you wish to compliment your wedding venue? Your wedding can be encapsulated in your bridal bouquet.
