Unsurprisingly, weekend days tend to be the most popular when choosing wedding dates, so for an event floral designer (that’s me!) Fridays and Saturdays (and more recently Sundays as well!!) tend to be busy-busy-busy days. And very long! I’m not complaining – I absolutely love what I do, working with flowers and beautiful people, visiting stunning Irish wedding locations, meeting industry peers and learning something new, the weekends are a mixture of excitement, energy, laughter, love and creative buzz.
Last weekend was a floral marathon for us with four weddings on Saturday and a ‘after’ on Sunday, we travelled to Brooklodge Hotel, Tinakilly House, Trudder Lodge, Marlfield House and Ashford countryside…just realised that the weekend was a County Wicklow affair!!
Here’s just a snippet of our floral adventures. It’s Monday and we’re getting ready for another epic (floral) weekend – I’ll keep you posted..
